002 Astounding Confused Crossword Clue Design
Confused? Don't be. There is no reason you cannot be just as successful as some of your competitors when it comes to crosswords. In fact, you can be on the verge of taking over the market if you just give it a little effort. All you need is a little dedication and some help from the right resources.
As with any type of puzzle, the first thing that you need to do is find a crossword puzzle to compete in. While there are many free crossword puzzles available, these usually pale in comparison to the hundreds of free crossword puzzles available online. When you get started, you might need to pay a small fee to get access to the best crossword clues out there, but you won't have to spend an arm and a leg to get started.
Once you have found a crossword puzzle that you think you'd enjoy trying, you should do some research into how to actually enter the puzzle. The most common way to enter a crossword is by using the letter A, B, C, or D. You click this in the corner of the puzzle and choose the letter you want the answer to be. For instance, if you're having a problem with a crossword clue such as "dog" then you might type "dog" instead of "Dogs". Remember, you can use both the letter A and the letter B, C, or D at a time, but only one of those letters has to be used.
When you have typed in your answer and clicked the "correct" button, you will now see a pop up message that tells you whether your answer was correct. If it was, you have the choice of putting in the name of the person you want the answer to come from (usually the person's name) or you can select to not put any information in. Keep in mind that you can always enter more than one name if you feel that you may be able to get more correct answers this way.
To finish solving the crossword, you will have to click the "Puzzle" button. When you click that, a new page will come up. On that new page, there will be a "puzzles" section where you can select different crossword puzzles. One of the great features of this page is that you can delete the puzzle if you're done with it won't be revealed to everyone else on the site. You can even change the difficulty of the puzzle with the different options available on the drop down menu.
You can use these features to your advantage. For instance, if you know that the person you're looking for will likely enter "dog" rather than any other word, you might want to pick a puzzle that will make it very easy for them. On the other hand, if you know that the person is going to type in "dog" but "jerk", you might want to try a puzzle that will make it quite difficult. There are many more advanced options available, too. All you have to do is to go to the advanced options and click the "Show/Recall" link to enable it.
If you find it extremely difficult to answer a particular crossword, you may need to revise your strategy. For example, if you notice that an answer you saw gave rise to more words, but none of the rest of the clues were repeated, you may need to revise your strategy. Sometimes the clues will be in simple English, but in other cases, the answer will be in something a bit more difficult to understand. If so, you should type the answer in as many ways as you can think of in a sentence that's not very long. Keep checking the spelling of the words you use.
One last thing you should do to help you get the most out of a confused crossword clue is to read the clues over again. The more you read the clues, the more likely it is that you'll eventually find the right one. That's because a lot of the clues come up time again and are almost word for word from one clue to the next. So if you don't see the answer right away, keep looking!
